Facebook is one of our favourite sites. Setting statuses, sharing pictures and commenting have become a part of our daily life. The only little problem is on accessing facebook site. Since the page has a lot of items, it would take sometime on a slow connection to load up. Moreover, what if you just signed in to check something serious. Say you wanted to get the number of your friend so you wouldnt want to see all those apps and notifications etc but just get the number at the earliest. We have found out some easy ways to access facebook without having to load everything.
1. The facebook iphone site: iphone.facebook.com
The page can be loaded from PCs, Macs and mobiles(touchscreens, we havent tried on non touchscreen phones).

The page has good UI. I have never seen such graphics on such a small site before. This best to do simple tasks quickly and easily.
2. The facebook mobile site: m.facebook.com

3. There is a lite version facebook under development. It is said that, it is being developed to compete with the twitter page. Unfortunately, we couldnt test the page as its not available here. The url is lite.facebook.com

4. Our Favourite facebook app for mobiles. Its also quick and easy way to access facebook without much hassles. It also allows you to comment, upload and share pictures. There are even more functions it can do. Check out the screen shot taken on a nokia phone.

The update was released yesterday and is supposed to be the last update before snow leopard’s release. Snow leopard is due for september and is available for $29 for leopard users who opt for upgrade and $129 for complete install disks. The new update is available via software update and is around 168mb.
