Nokia and microsoft have joined to work together for creating a mobile version of microsoft office for its phones.
Nokia currently ships quickoffice bundled with its eseries devices. However, from now on it will be a microsoft client inside rather than a quick office client. But whats the big deal to us the customers. Well, we dont have to buy a quick office and moreover since its from microsoft itself, we dont have to worry about any incompatabilities we had with our documents. Lets also hope that a version for non eseries will also be out.

MIcrosoft had finally decided to join hands with yahoo to boost its search engine services. A 10-year deal announced Wednesday gives Microsoft its best shot yet to show its new search technology, Bing, is as good as or better than Google’s. Microsoft also hopes to use Yahoo to divert sales from Google, which generates more than $20 billion a year from ads.
