So Jan 27th apple event is now confirmed. Finally, all the tablet rumors will come to an end, we hope. Apple today officially announced that they will be conducting a media event for some selected guests. And also released this beautiful brochure saying “Come seeour latest creation”. I see the enthusiasm in those words. Its really going to be a great event. And like the iphone event, its going to be a game changer.

What happened to our favourite devices:
Ipod Shuffle:
Ipod shuffle did get some upgrade in hardware.
- 2GB shuffle available at $59
- 4GB as usual at $79
- A new stainless steel edition now available at $99
- And pink, blue and green colours have been added in addition to black and grey models.
Ipod Classic
- Ipod Classic got its capacity expanded to 160GB from 120GB at the same price $249.
Ipod Nano
- A new video camera, an FM radio, Voice Over, and the new Genius Mix feature have been added.
- Screen Size increases to 2.2 inches
- 8GB available at $149 and 16GB at $179
Ipod Touch
- The Biggest disappointment is that no camera as expected (may be that production problem thing
- 8GB ipod touch’s price dropped to $199 from $229
- 16GB and 32GB models replaced by 32 and 64GB models respectively at same price
- 32GB and 64GB also comes with earphones with mic. 8GB version does not come with mic
The latest ipod updates did not bring enough suprises as we expected. We believe that ipod shuffle and Nano has got decent upgrades and is worth an upgrade. But for ipod touch we dont think its worthy enough. Tell us what you think…
