It’s been so long since the communicators saw a successor and here it is finally. Titled as the Nokia E900, its more similar to the nokia n900 in design and in specifications with some extra communicator only features. Check them out here.
The gorgeous 4.5″ display will be a great advantage to office users to work on their documents. The last installment of the communicator series had less width compared to its length. Inclusion of optical pad will also assist a lot in navigating through menus and files. And moreover it comes with Maemo, thanks to nokia for ditching the symbian in this. However, how much this device is gonna cost is a big question now. hope nokia prices it wisely. Now tell us if this was the communicator you’ve been waiting for ?? Or were you expecting something more ???
We also have some information on another eseries device in works, The nokia E97. Click here to read more.

I love it. Hope it’s actually real though, and not just a floating rumor. But, if it’s not. I think it’s time to give up laptop computers.

I wish if nokia comes up with e90′s successor in d same form factor with dual core processors to support symbian in outside screen and maemo with meego inside just like we had 9300 and 9500 having s40 outside and s60 inside.. And ha we communicator really dont need a screen touch.,. Thts for kids using iphone.. Nokia plz do come up with something innovative. Commercialise my tip n i bet it will b d most selling business phone in d world..nokia just do it for heavens sake u fkin looser.. I m fed up of waiting now. I m bored of e90
I am sick of waiting for a new communicator & I agree with you touch screen is not required as it sucks battery off
As a owner of the E90, I will be not be buying this E900 if this is really what the next communicator looks like. I think Nokia needs to replace everyone of their engineers just for showing this image. I did not find the E90 software to be all that great and business phone it isn’t. I guess there version of Business shows in their recent quarter results. Here it is, the communicator is now just like any other phone.
